It seemed like only yesterday that they saw each other through blurry beer goggles in a seedy Harrison bar.

Today was the first race for Swordfish this year and in our very first race we had 19 people with 1 sitting out….why? Because COACH CAN’T COUNT! He thought he did a lineup with 20 but it wasn’t until we actually sat our asses down in the boat that we realized that we were short one!
Oh well, we just had to prove that we could make it to the A Final the hard way, by working hard!
The funny thing is that we were actually leaning for a change but our blade angle was off. The finish still needs to be worked on to give more kick at the end but this is a great start to what should be a great season.
3…2…1…Swordfish!
